ICNA Relief Helps Rohingya Refugees in the Path Toward Citizenship

As the old adage goes, “Feed a man a fish and he will eat for a day, teach him how to fish and he will eat for a lifetime.” There is no greater gift than self-sufficiency. In an effort to continue our mission of empowering the refugee community in North Texas, ICNA Relief in partnership with Catholic Charities, has launched our first ESL & Citizenship Class of the year!

Already,18 dedicated Rohingya men and women have enrolled in this 50-hour course which will instruct them in ESL reading, writing, and speaking, as well as prepare them for their citizenship exam. The class is taught on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:00pm – 8:30pm at our office, located at 7317 Holly Hill Dr, Suite B, Dallas, TX 75231. Please donate to support this beneficial program and help refugees gain citizenship.
