Welcome package to settle a new arrival
As ICNA relief opens its hands to welcome the refugees and makes them feel home, we start
our work before the arrival of the refugees by preparing welcome packages for them. By
contacting the resettlement agencies we get the information about the new comers like the size
of the family and the ages of the kids so that we can prepare suitable packages for them.

Each package includes:

  • Pillows
  • Sheets
  • Towels
  • Blankets
  • Kitchen supplies (crockery, utensils, pots and pans)
  • Cleaning supplies
  • Food
We frequently run campaigns to collect all necessary items through our communities

Help them set in their new home with furniture
ICNA RELIEF always helps the refugees to get all necessary furniture, to do so ICNA Relief
either sponsors the refugees completely or we visit after they arrive to give them the rest of
furniture they need. When we sponsor them we provide every piece of furniture they need like
beds and mattresses, dining table and chairs, sofas, etc. By sponsoring them we save them a
good amount of money that they receive from the government which is called welcome money.

Temporary housing for single sisters and moms with young children
ICNA Relief looks after single mothers with young kids by providing them with temporary
housing, furniture, food, financial assistance, car donation, education and job placement. Being
there for these single mothers saves the whole family from homelessness and gives them hope.
